Bangkok, l'une des villes les plus cosmopolites d'Asie, est la capitale de la Thaïlande. Bangkok est chaud et encombré, mais il est assez propre et offre beaucoup de choses amusantes à faire. Bangkok a d'excellents magasins, beaucoup de culture, des temples incroyables, une cuisine délicieuse et une scène artistique décente. La plupart des sites touristiques de Bangkok sont concentrés sur l'île de Rattanakosin, souvent appelée la vieille ville. Le Grand Palais est le site à voir absolument. Le complexe du Grand Palais abrite également le temple du Bouddha d'Émeraude, le Wat Phra Keow, le temple bouddhiste le plus sacré. Les autres temples célèbres de Bangkok sont les temples Wat Pho et Wat Arun. Bangkok est un endroit idéal pour faire du shopping. Il existe de nombreux magasins, centres commerciaux et marchés pour satisfaire tous les désirs. La vie nocturne à Bangkok est aussi variée que la ville elle-même: bars à bière, discothèques exclusives, marchés nocturnes, discothèques et soirées hippies. Bangkok est une grande métropole tentaculaire, bruyante et encombrée mais paisible et délicate. C'est l'une des principales destinations du monde qu'il faut visiter au moins une fois dans la vie.
